TSMC seeks a home in Europe. It's Italy-Germany match

Taiwan's TSMC is planning and considering opening a new manufacturing plant in Europe. The choice on where to locate it is between Europe's two most important manufacturing economies, Germany and Italy.

Europe cannot do without Russian gas (at least for this decade)

There are 100 billion cubic meters of gas that the EU no longer intends to import from Russia, already by 2023. Even in the most optimistic estimates, there is still a deficit of at least 60 billion cubic meters of gas.

I visited the ITER Hydrogen Fusion Research Center in Cadarache (Marseille). This is an international project under construction by an international consortium to build a hydrogen fusion reactor to generate electricity.
