Emblematic of the scholar who does not confine himself in the proverbial ivory tower but rather puts his expertise at the service of the community: this is Niccolò Machiavelli. Our symbol is the fox and the lion, for the Florentine symbol of the qualities needed by the statesman: strength and intelligence. Virtues needed by today's politician no less than by the Renaissance prince.

“Persuadere e agire” è il motto della Fondazione. Lo studio e l’analisi non sono mai finalizzati a loro stessi, bensì a rendere più consapevole l’opinione pubblica e a coadiuvare l’azione dei governanti e decisori. La ricerca e le pubblicazioni sono costantemente accompagnate da eventi, blog e altre forme di divulgazione tra cittadini e politici.
