In his new book, Yoram Hazony provides a new theoretical basis for conservatism by moving beyond the moderate liberalism of Hayek and Strauss and the lukewarm conservatism of the "fusionists" of the 1960s, drawing on decades of personal experience in the conservative movement and arguing that a resurgence of conservatism in the West is possible in the 21st century.

Centro Studi Machiavelli, publisher Giubilei Regnani, Nazione Futura and Confedilizia present the Italian edition of the book Conservatism: A Rediscovery, just published, with speeches by the author, president of the Edmund Burke Foundation; Ofir Haivry, vice-president of the Herzl Institute; and Francesco Giubilei, president of Nazione Futura, Daniele Scalea, president of Centro Studi Machiavelli, and Giorgio Spaziani Testa president of Confedilizia.

The conference will be held on Wednesday, April 26, from 6 p.m., at the Confedilizia headquarters in Rome, Via Borgognona 47.
