For six months now, the conflict between Israel and Hamas, inaugurated by the bloody Palestinian attack on Oct. 7, has been writing a new chapter in the long-standing Jewish-Arab dispute in those lands. And the West is proving divided over which side to take: while many are sympathetic to the reasons for Israeli self-defense, pro-Hamas factions are increasingly filling squares in Europe and the US as well.

The ongoing conflict and the position of the West will be the topic of the debate to be held in Conegliano (TV), Via I. Pittoni 2/4, on Monday, April 22 at 8:30 p.m., under the sponsorship of the Centro Studi Machiavelli and the Nova Vita Association.

Speakers will be Lorenzo Bernasconi, researcher at Centro Studi Machiavelli, and reporter Daniele Dell’Orco.
