US: US Air Force down roars to score the rainbow pot of gold
The Department of the Air Force in Washington has issued a circular inciting commands to plan and implement appropriate celebrations for "pride month" (June). According to the head of the department's Office of Diversity and Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Resilient Force, sic) Marianne P. Malizia (real name), the U.S. Air Force must "celebrate the diversity and inclusivity of our force". "Our Air and Space Forces are stronger because of the unique backgrounds and experiences of our Total Force that engender a more inclusive, and ultimately more effective, team" Malizia wrote. Meanwhile, The Federalist points out, the U.S. Air Force is in the midst of the worst personnel crisis in history, with 2,700 fewer men than needed showing up at recruiting offices. Worse still is going to the Reserve and National Guard Air Force, where the shortfall of recruits in '23 is close to 30 percent of requirements. The nosedive on the rainbow pot of gold seems a little too unbridled...
Italy: fighting stereotypes, you're doing it right
In a television broadcast on Rete4, a black girl was interviewed who challenged General Vannacci [see video on journalist Francesca Totolo's X profile]. Her argument against the serviceman's - objective - claims about Egonu's somatic features? "But 'what does this Turk want? Does this one have Caucasian features? He looks to me like the guy who sells me kebabs...." The contradiction is apparent, and only applies if you are not a wokeist. Remember that for those with wokeness to insult a white person using racist arguments is not racism.
Poland: religious symbols banned in public
Warsaw Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski has banned the display of religious symbols, including crucifixes, in public offices. Exceptions are made for personally worn symbols -- pendants, bracelets... -- and tattoos. For now.
New Zealand: curing self-harm by harming in the surgery room
A 17-year-old New Zealand girl who thinks she is male, believing the waiting list in public hospitals for so-called "sex change" to be too long and too expensive to pay $35,000 for a butcher to do the job in a private surgery room, decided to self-mutilate her breasts, ending up in a rush to the ER. Of course, the only permissible comment on the affair is blame for "the unacceptable inadequacy of access to necessary care," understanding "necessary care" to mean mutilation at NHS expense of perfectly healthy bodies rather than therapy for clearly disturbed minds.
Germany: statistics offend human dignity
That the political climate in Germany, with the AFD threatening to take a boatload of votes, prompts the establishment to take action. Thus German politician Marie-Thérèse Kaiser, a 27-year-old AFD councilwoman in Lower Saxony, has been sentenced to a 6,000 euro fine for publishing statistics showing that there is on average a frighteningly higher propensity to rape among Afghan immigrants than there is among locals. The facts alleged against Kaiser date back to 2021. Kaiser had been convicted in the first instance in 2023, a sentence upheld on appeal a few days ago. According to the sentencing judge, "those who attack human dignity cannot invoke freedom of speech." What is "attacking human dignity" of course was established by the judge. For the record, the human dignity-injuring statistic says that the chance of an African or an Afghan being involved in a gang rape case is 40 and 70 times greater, respectively, than a German citizen (for other foreigners, it is "only" six times greater). Damn those numbers that are offensive to human dignity!
