Daniele Scalea, Presidente del Centro Studi Machiavelli, è intervenuto su RPL a “Il punto politico”, programma condotto da PierLuigi Pellegrin, per discutere del suo articolo La migrazione come arma. Il presidente Scalea ha spiegato come i flussi migratori possano inserirsi in contesti di guerra ibrida tesi a danneggiare coscientemente il Paese che li subisce.

Laureato in Scienze storiche (Università degli Studi di Milano) e Dottore di ricerca in Studi politici (Università Sapienza), è docente di "Storia e dottrina del jihadismo" presso l'Università Marconi. In precedenza ha insegnato anche presso l'Università Cusano, sulla geopolitica del Medio Oriente e l'estremismo islamico.

From 2018 to 2019, he served as Special Advisor on Immigration and Terrorism to Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs Guglielmo Picchi; he later served as head of the technical secretariat of the President of the Parliamentary Delegation to the Central European Initiative (CEI).

Author of several books, including Immigration: the reasons of populists, which has also been translated into Hungarian.
